Why it exists
A frosted glass globe on a thin metal ring. Lit, it glows evenly across the whole sphere instead of throwing a pool downward, which is why it works in the middle of a table rather than at the edge of one.
The glass is opal, thick enough that the light source never shows through as a bright spot.
Three levels, set by touching the base, all 2700K.

Shipping and returns
Shipping. Free to all US addresses. Orders are processed within 2 business days. Delivery is typically 8 to 14 days from the day you order, and occasionally up to 21 days. We do not ship outside the US.
Returns. 30 days from delivery. Email support@bordlamp.com with your order number. We refund the full amount to your original payment method within 5 business days of approving the return, and in most cases we do not ask you to ship the lamp back.
Warranty. 12 months against manufacturing defect. If the battery will not hold a charge or the touch control fails, we replace it.
Frequently asked
It ships from our supplier's warehouse in China. That is why it takes 8 to 14 days instead of two. We are not going to pretend otherwise — the alternative is a US-warehoused lamp at $95, and we would rather you keep the $41. If you need it faster than 14 days, do not order it for a specific date.
2700K, the warm end. The same colour temperature as an incandescent bulb or a candle. If your reference point is a cheap desk lamp, this is not that.
Up to 10 hours on low, roughly 4 hours on full. A full charge takes about 4 hours. At two hours an evening on low you will charge it about once a week.
Not reliably. It is a capacitive sensor on the metal base. Dry your hands, or switch it on before you get in the bath.
Three fixed levels, not a continuous dimmer. Low, medium, full. It cycles through them and then off.

No, and that is deliberate. It charges over USB-C from any phone charger, laptop or power bank you already own. Including a cheap wall adapter would add cost and a certification liability without adding anything you need.
